International Pedal Pull Rules
International Pedal Pull Rules
The folowing rulles will be inforced at the International Pedal Pull.
- All contestants who placed 1st thru 5th at the 2007 Canadian provincial or the United States National Pedal Pull are eligible to compete.
- All contestants must register before the pull and must present proof of age.
- All contestants must be wearing shoes. Sandals will not be allowed unless they can be securely fastened.
- No jerking is allowed.
- The pull is over when the tractor and sled come to a complete stop.
- After the pull is started if the contestant's foot slips off of the pedal, the pull will be stopped. The track official will determine the repull possibility.
- No weight jackets or extra weight may be worn or carried in the pockets of a contestant. Only regular clothing may be worn. Track officials will have the final ruling on this matter if there is a question.
- Contestant must keep both hands on the steering wheel. No standing is allowed.
- Any arguing and or badgering by Contestants, parents, or guardians will result in the disqualification of the contestant.
- All contestants will pull in the same age group as he or she pulled in at the Canadian or United States National meet. For example, if a contestant was 12 years of age when they qualified for the International pull, and has since turned 13, they will still pull in the 12 year old group.
- Track Officials rulings are final.
